Privacy Policy

SideQuestIdeas uses browser-local storage for quest history and favorite logs. The Cloudflare Worker also records minimal aggregate site activity:

• No User Account: You do not need to register or log in.
• Local Storage: Completed records, favorites, custom quests, and sound preferences are stored in this browser.
• JSON Files: Imported and exported quest-list files are processed locally and are not uploaded by SideQuestIdeas.
• Site stats: Each successful HTML page response increments the total visit count. The site also counts distinct client IP digests to show unique IPs.
• IP privacy: Raw client IPs are not written to the database. They are used transiently with a server-side secret to create a keyed, one-way digest; no cookie or account identifier is used for the counters.
• No third-party analytics: SideQuestIdeas does not use advertising, email collection, payment integrations, or a third-party analytics platform.
